Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the MooFlights website and browser extension, provided by Mu Travel LLC. By installing or using MooFlights, you agree to these terms.

1. What MooFlights Does

MooFlights is a browser companion for Google Flights, Skyscanner, and ITA Matrix. It shows estimated mileage earnings, compares booking-page offers across country markets, opens prefilled Where to Credit links, ranks curated booking links, and helps fill in airport codes. It reads and annotates pages you visit on supported sites; it does not book flights or handle payments on your behalf.

2. Open-Source License

The MooFlights extension source code is distributed under the AGPL-3.0-only license and published at github.com/michaelmwu/mooflights-extension. Your right to use, copy, modify, and redistribute the source code is governed by that license. The optional hosted MooTravel backend referenced in the source is separate infrastructure and is not covered by the AGPL license.

3. Third-Party Sites And Accuracy

Google Flights, Skyscanner, ITA Matrix, and any airline, booking, or loyalty-program sites referenced by MooFlights are operated by third parties and are not affiliated with Mu Travel LLC. Mileage estimates, price comparisons, and booking-confidence rankings are provided for convenience and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Always verify fares, fees, and mileage terms directly with the airline or program before booking.

4. Acceptable Use

Do not use MooFlights to violate the law or the terms of service of any site it interacts with, to scrape or resell data at scale, or to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, overload, or bypass access controls for any site or service it connects to.

5. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how the current production extension handles flight-search data, settings, storage, and network requests.

6. No Warranty

MooFlights is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser version or site layout.

7. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mu Travel LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost bookings, missed mileage credit, or financial loss, arising from your use of or inability to use MooFlights.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as MooFlights evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where practical, noted in the extension's release notes.
